After the drive through part there is a small feeding area to hand feed some goats. We have a 15 yo and a 3 yo and both enjoyed this and well as their mom and I. The animals were so much fun but they are definitely greedy so be prepared to ration your treat buckets. Entry was $17 per person for over 12 yo and $13 2-12 yo and we got 2 buckets of treats for $8 ($4 each). We went the day after Christmas and the weather was perfect. Nothing big or the slightest problem, but an just FYI. The cows with the giant horns will move their heads and bump into your mirror or touch your car. My last advice is that if you baby your car and can’t live another day with the possibility of a tiny scratch or door ding.this isn’t for you. I would definitely stop here as part of a vacation going someplace else bc it is right off the highway. We dropped $115 for a family of 5 with admission and animal food. At the end you can feed lettuce to a giraffe on a raised platform and can feed birds that fly onto your finger. You can feed camel’s, giant bulls, deer, in the middle and end. The drive took us an hour fifteen and you can go around again if you want.ĭon’t feed all your food on the llama’s at the front. It was really a lot of fun and worth the price. These animals, especially the llama’s will stick their head into your car to eat food.
Do not pass up getting a food bucket for every person in car, you will need it. * They are part of the reciprocal zoo system and offer a military discount for active duty. * At the end you can buy $2 budgie birdseed and $5 lettuce leaves for the giraffes * The llamas have a system! One llama will stand in front of the car while the other one goes to your car window and waits. If you can get by the animals, save your feed until there’s a smaller crowd and you can pick which animals you want to feed. Feed the other animals when the emus aren’t around. It’s dangerous to close the window while they’re feeding but that’s what you want to do. They are scary! Like Jurassic Park, there’s a dinosaur in my car scary! If you want to get away from them you have to put the feed away and drive slowly forward. *Beware the emus! They are greedy little buggars and stick their beaks way into your car! When they peck the feed out of the bucket, it goes everywhere. Unforgettable! We stopped here with my two year old to break up our trip from the North Georgia Mountains.
